Meet Our Staff


At Pine Ridge Day Camp we have an energetic, passionate staff that understands the importance of helping children make great memories. Our summer camp staff of senior, junior, and specialty counselors and support staff work hard to make sure each camper has a great experience at camp and are kept safe. Our year-round staff works with our equestrian program and the preparations for summer camp each year.

Our counselors are carefully screened before becoming employees at Pine Ridge Day Camp and Equestrian Center.  We conduct multiple interviews, background checks, pre-employment screening, and other necessary screening measures. Year-Round Staff


Dylan Jackson - Camp Director



Dylan Jackson was instrumental in the purchasing of Pine Ridge Day Camp & Equestrian Center in 2007 and has been involved with Pine Ridge since the beginning. Before coming to Pine Ridge, Dylan spent 28 years in the insurance industry. Dylan is married to wife, Patti, who is a Re-Max realtor in the area. They have two daughters--Kara and Heather--both of whom are married and live in the Tennessee Valley area. Kara is a school nurse at Priceville Elementary School, and Heather owns her own photography business. Dylan and Patti also have three grandchildren. Outside of camp, they enjoy spending time together and with their grandchildren.


Brad Romine - Camp Director


Brad Romine was also instrumental in the purchasing of Pine Ridge Day Camp & Equestrian Center in 2007. Not only has Brad served as the Camp Director since the beginning, he is also the Chief Executive Office of Pine Ridge’s parent company: the Centers for the Developmentally Disabled, North Central Alabama, inc. Brad has been married to his wife, Lissa, for 25 years. Together, Brad and Lissa have three children: Cody, Lexie, and Ian. Cody and Lexie are both graduates of Athens State University, and Ian attends the University of North Alabama. 


Andrea Faulk - Camp Program Director

Andrea Faulk has been involved with Pine Ridge Day Camp & Equestrian Center since 2015. In the fall of 2017, she will begin her first year as the Camp Program Director. Andrea has been involved in the world of riding from a young age. Some of her most notable accomplishments include Cowboy Church All Girls Rodeo Champion; JRC Showmanship, Horsemanship, Halter Champion; Riverdale Division Reserve Champion Show Jumper; 2012 Miss Morgan County Sheriff’s Rodeo Queen; and 2015 Miss Heritage Days Rodeo Queen. She has also placed in several different rodeos in North Alabama and continues to compete in rodeo. Andrea is also certified as an instructor through the Certified Horsemanship Association. Andrea has extensive experience working with children of various ages through her time as a counselor at Pine Ridge and her experience working with the Marshall County 4-H in-school programming. In her free time, Andrea enjoys being involved in her community by volunteering as a firefighter/EMT with the local volunteer fire department. Andrea and her husband, Jacob, reside in Somerville, Alabama. Andrea is very excited to begin her first year as Camp Program Director!


Lexie Romine - Camp Relations and Marketing Director



Lexie Romine has been involved in the world of camping since she was nine years old--first as a camper, then as a counselor, and now as the Camp Relations and Marketing Director for Pine Ridge Day Camp & Equestrian Center. Lexie graduated high school from Madison Academy and is a graduate of Athens State University with a degree in Elementary/Collaborative Education a minor in Educational Technology. She is a highly qualified, certified teacher in Elementary and Collaborative in the state of Alabama. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Collaborative Education (K-6) at the University of North Alabama. Lexie enjoys teaching and helping others, whether it be at school or out in the community. She believes the camping experience is one that every child should be given the opportunity to experience.   

Ian Romine - Specialized Activities Coordinator



Ian Romine has worked at Pine Ridge Day Camp & Equestrian Center for several years, first as a Junior Counselor, and now as the Specialized Activities Coordinator. Ian is a certified High Ropes Facilitator and is also a certified Lifeguard Instructor through the American Red Cross. Ian graduated from Madison Academy and is currently attending the University of North Alabama where he is majoring in Social Work. 


Summer Camp Staff

Before camp starts, our counselors meet for intensive orientation, training, and brainstorming sessions. This allows them to prepare for the summer camp season and share creative ideas to keep making Pine Ridge Day Camp better each year. We maintain a low staff to camper ratio to ensure that every camper is able to maximize their camping experience. Our safety precautions include lifeguards stationed at all water activities and a full-time nurse.
