The site of the former Pine Hill Day Camp was acquired November of 2007, and is now in the process of being transformed into a fully-accessible, highly active community resource. On its 122 acre grounds, Pine Ridge Day Camp offers amenities such as a lake for canoeing and fishing, a dining hall with a full-service kitchen, in-door and out-door riding arenas, walking and riding trails, and much more.

Pine Ridge Day Camp is affiliated with the Centers For The Developmentally Disabled North Central Alabama, Inc, a non-profit agency that provides employment training, social interaction, day habilitation, early intervention, residential programs and other services for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities.
